psp go or psp 3000

What are the difference? Besides the internal memory and the visuals, are their any major difference? My mom and I were thinking about getting one for my bro for Christmas, so I need some input from some people.

We have a fast internet, so downloading games isn't a problem. Should we get him an extra 16gb card? Will that be enough?

If you have old PSP games, they are useless. I don't understand how the download service works...how many games are you able to take with you on the move? As many as your systemm memory holds? WHy should you pay more for memory cards in that sense?

Apparently the buttons are too squished together...like its a design for childrens hands making adults hands far too cramped to use regulary comfortably.

There is still only freaking 1 analog stick..why couldnt they put another one where the start/select buttons are? This renders the PSP useless for anything exciting in the future as games will usually still be stuck in the generation of the PS1 days...

For $250 you can get yourself a nice ipod touch, and also download games for that, which are just as good?

The PSP GO is just a flashy piece of hardware that will prove to be a failure in my opinion....way too over priced.
Apart from that, the PSP 3000 is the way to go...or even better just get a first generation PSP downgrade the firmware, buy a large memory stick and download the games for free !!

Ah, oh well. We went with the psp go lol it's pretty neat though, I understand it was more but it just seems....nicer. Although I realize that it will cost more to get games through the PSN, it's more convienient because that way he won't lose his games and they'll always be "his" you know what I'm sayin? Although we have to worry about losing the psp itselt, but this narrows it down a bit. I think of paying the extra money as "insurance" for the game. Keep your inputs coming though :
