Holy Crap! Hasn't been out for very long and it's already got a custom firmware for it. How awesome. One thing that sux is that the 1.50 kernel doesn't work on the psp slim so some homebrew doesn't work. The firmware is installed via a slightly modified version of the pandora memory stick you use in the pandora battery package. However THERE IS NO UNBRICKER FOR THE PSP SLIM YET. Hey hex, how you doin.
I have a working Pan's battery and MMS and have downgraded half a dozen fat's so far. Thing is one of the guys has gone and bought a S&L and is annoying me to get CFW on it. Trouble is I can't find (or maybe I'm to thick to understand :whatever: ) a good guide to make it compatible. Also is it just the MMS I need to change or do I have to modify the Bat too ?

Its just the memstick. There isn't really to much of a guide except for what's in the readme. But this is the lowdown

You modify the memstick for psp-2000......easy one homebrew to run and two firmware updates to download.

Pop the memstick in first, then the battery. You will not see anything on the screen but you will notice the powerlight LED is on. Press X to install the firmware. Once it's done flashing (only a few files), the psp will automatically restart. PM or msg back if u need more help. Oh yeah nice talkin to you again, its been awhile.

Custom Firmware

Hey, I was wondering if anyone would be willing to help me out with putting Custom Firmware on my PSP Slim. I just got it yesterday and I'm having some difficulties figuring this out on my own. And I remember going through this with the Original PSP. It took me a couple months just to figure out how to do this same thing. So I figured I would try to get some help from someone who is more experienced in this area. Any help would be greatly appreciated, even if it's just a little info.

Thanks
