Play GBA games on your PSP!

You Need a PsP with custom firmware aka Modded to play this emulator.
And Not All Roms work with this Emulator *Most Will*
(have tryed over 30 roms and only 2 havent worked)


1) Download The Emulator

2)Unpack the emulator from the rar and place the folder(GBA Emulator) into

<psp drive letter>:/psp/game/(if you are running a custom 1.5 firmware)
<psp drive letter>:/psp/game150/(if you are using higher custom firmware)

3)You will need to obtain some roms, all gba games are protected under something called the ESA and they cant be downloaded from usual rom sites.(romhustler,romnation)

You will need to get them from warez sites. Use google and look for them, or buy premium and have someone find them for you.

4)Place your roms into the folder <psp drive letter>:/psp/game/GBA Emulator/roms/ (if you are using custom 1.5 FW)

Or <psp drive letter>:/psp/game150/GBA Emulator/roms (if you are using a higher custom firmware

5)Now Exit USB mode in the psp and navigate you the games and select memory stick.

6)launch the Emulator (should be called gpSP)

7)Highlight the ROMS folder and press circle

Then highlight the rom you want to play and press circle and the game should launch.

You can save the game as if it was any old GBA game. And the emulator also has a "save state" function that will allow you to save anywhere.

NOTE* You may need to adjust the frame skip to have the game run smother. For mario and games like that don't go any higher than 1 or 2.
But for advance wars you can go higher because its turn-based and you don't need to have the game run silky smooth.

Now Have fun playing all those great GBA games on your psp.

1.5 is the recommended firmware but a little higher is fine. You'll just have to read carefully, because higher you'll have to put in a different spot.
