PSP Modding myths?

Days ago at school, my friend told me that he hacked into his PSP's Firmware version 4.60 and put a whole bunch of, in his exact words, "stuff" on it. Later on that same day, I heard some kids talking about how their friend had hacked their PSP and put Halo 3 on it.

I'm pretty sure both of these stories are bulls**t, but I'd like to get some clarification from the experts.

first off

there is no version 4.60

and you cant put halo 3 on the psp
you can put halo 1 and 2 but not 3

It is possible to hack it but like r4zor said there is no 4.60 version. As for the halo 3 the prosser can not hold halo3.

You cant put halo/2/3 or any xbox game on a psp.

he used the gay homebrew edition of it. i use to have it but got rid of it

Yeah that one sucks, as for the videos on youtube you see of that, they are all videos. The psp cannot connect to the xbox servers anyway.

I entirely agree with mojobojo and if you interested in a Halo mod that will be amazing (not actually any of the Halos though) check out Halo Solitude for PSP (Use the good old Google machine). It has not been released yet but i would suggest keeping an eye on it =)
