Complete NOOB to Modding anything...help!!!

Hi everyone. I am looking to get a PSP and want to be able to play all of the classic games on it. So, I know I have to get it modded.

From beginning to end I don't know what I need what I have to do.

make a magic memory stick and a jig kick battery plug in psp then put in battery charge for 1 to 2 hours unplug psp and restart psp then depending on what version you got click 3.XX or 4.XX or 5.XX let it go to work and your don and this can only be done on the psp phat(which i prefer i can use it as a IR remote) Or slim not the 3000 version yet
