Can't update to 2.00 Firmware

Unanswered: Can't update to 2.00 Firmware
Well, I managed to downgrade my PSP from 3.50 FW to 1.50 FW. Now, I have some homebrew and stuff, but when I try to play Liberty City Stories, it doesn't work. Yeah, I try to upgrade to 2.00, and it fails to. Heck, I even tried to goto 1.52! Someone please help?
P.S. I can get a 2 GB memory stick so I can just use custom firmware, but it will take a while. That's why I want to know how to fix this.

You will need:
  1. A 1.50 PSP
  2. Devhook (Click the image to open in full size. )
  3. Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories PSP UMD Disc
  • First Buy Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories
  • Next get your PSP
  • Put GTA: VCS in the disc tray
  • Start up Devhook
  • Choose UMD Disc in the settings
  • Choose 2.71 in the firmware options
  • Start
  • The game will run!
