Unanswered: Homebrew apps

So i try install homebrew apps and they just dont work !

I get the same error something like
'the game could not be started : 80020148 '

Im running 3.71 M33-2 (custom firmware)

You probably need to turn off NO-UMD and plain modules. both options can be found in the recovery menu. if that doesn't work its either a bad ISO, or simply incompatible.
turning off NO-UMD will require a UMD in the drive when playing your games.

Make sure your homebrew is going into the right game folder. For example, if it was meant for 1.5, it needs to go in the GAME150 folder.

You might need the 1.50 kernal addon. check dark alex's site.

ive put the umd thing to -UMD NEEDED

Ive installed the 1.50 kernal addon..still doesnt work.

I don't really know. Is there a way you could reinstall all the stuff you have. Like just homebrew? If not just try and restore to a official software and then downgrade again. or something.

im trying to run programs like xflash and usbss

when you say turn no umd off where is that on the recovery menu ? is that the bit on my pic where it sats sony np9660 ?

yea, it's the sony np9660. If you havent turned that off and tryed it try that next.

Cant you just turn it off? Or are there different setting you can change it to?

Normal - No umd required-
M33 driver -no umd-
sony NP9660 -no umd-
OE isofs legacy -no umd-

Just try them all and see if one of them works, and if it does leave it on that setting.

why dont you just change the kernel to 3.xx? i mean if the homebrew isnt made for 1.5 then your not gonna be able to run it on the 1.5 kernel

Yea i figured it out the other night I did not change the settings in the recover menu right with a little tinkering I got the roms to work any info on how to put the N64 and other games like that on the psp where do i put the roms and emulators to do this let me know thanx
