My friend has a messed up ps3 drive and it supposedly wont read all the games, im gonna see if i can fix it for him, but has anyone else had this problem with theirs? anyone know a fix? i have a feeling if there is a fix its gonna be a ***** considering its a blueray | ||||||

| Well if your friend has a receipt it will say on there if it has warranty or he can call sony and they will probably be able to tell him. And if he does not. I had a ps3 blue-ray die and i got mine fixed for $70. Of course i fixed it myself so void the warranty. | ||||||

Tell your friend to update to 2.42 or w/e the latest update is and then tell him to call sony and say that the blueray drive was doing fine untill he updated and thats what messed his drive up. Thats what a friend of mine did and they fixed his PS3 for free with out the receipt or warranty | ||||||
