Yeah th ePS3 uses the same HDd as your average laptop does.

you can pick them
up pretty cheap off ebay, just make sure its a 2.5" sata

The Ps3 is said to run fine with 5400rpm or 7200rpm versions,.
and can support any size HDD that I know of.

I've installed a 160gb 5400rpm Seagate momentus and it runs fine.

Installation is easy, and total cost was £45 including next day delivery, no doubt a hell of alot cheaper if your in the states etc

You cant not put bigger hdd then 150gb sata.. ur system will not take it..
u can even check it at ps3forums..

^^^Negative I have a 320gb from Toshiba works just fine...it stil 5400rpm so I don't foresee any problems
