All you PS3 haters out there!

First off if you knew anything about game dev. you'd know that the more content on a disc the slower and crappier the game is going to perform. hard drives will ALWAYS be better and faster. Especially now that the SSD's are becoming mainstream.

Secondly, there's been a few high ups speculating that consoles are going to be dead in 10 years so who cares.

Third: This still doesnt change my opinion that Sony has sucked and will always suck therefore I refuse to buy a single thing from them.

4th: Oh god 50GB on a disc, i'd ****ing shoot myself trying to have to create that much content. Seriously do you have any idea how much crap would have to be put on a disc that size to fill it up. We're talking HUGE textures, way above 4096x4096. Characters in the millions of poly's range. Billion poly+ scenes (which is just stupid to even think about). Oh and here's the kicker. The hardware that would be required to run all of that in a console (yes we're still talking about a console and not a super computer) doesnt even exsist. I'd be like Crysis X 100.

So to sum it up... no one cares.

I love how you all say Sony sucks but you all probably own something that Sony has made and don't even know it. Sony is a great electronics manufacturer and will be around for many years. I like the PS3 and the Xbox 360. The Ps3 has a lot more to offer than just playing games though and that's what people don't seem to understand.

I never said Sony sucks, I said they failed with the Design of the PS3. and I dont see how you say the PS3 Has "a Lot more to offer than just playing games", and the Xbox doesn't. The only thing The PS3 has that the Xbox doesnt have is The Browser, and the Bluray Disc Drive (Plus they Both have Different "MAIN" Hardware inside, but thats already obvious ). I think that This Entire Topic Just needs to be viewed as an Equal, From Both Sides. Like I said in my Earlier Post, I Think Both Systems have better Things about em, like the Browser on the PS3 and the Online Game Experience on Xbox 360. but I definately dont think the PS3 has more to offer than just playing Games. what else is there besides the Browser and Bluray DVD capabilities?

I bought a PS3 for the BluRay player and a few future games and i have to say it has great potential but it needs more exclusive games.

^ I agree that it needs more Exclusive Games as Well (If they Had Good Exclusive Games I might Buy one). But the Truth is, Game Dev's Know wich Console's games are Selling more and, In All hoesty, only care about the money they will make. so they make a game and put it out on all the big platforms unless a console Dev (Microsoft or sony) feel confident in the sales they will get for their console. I dont see many Great Exclusive Games for the PS3 coming out anytime soon. but I could be wrong

i have a 360 and a wii, selliing the wii soon, and for my 360, im gonna play ninja gaiden 2,gta4, and GoW2 for a bit when it comes out then sell my 360 to get a ps3

You want to limit your game developers to 8GB... Remember how There were all these extra struggles to snug Assassin's Creed on to a dvd?

This makes me seriously consider getting a PS3. It's just that the online is a big factor to me. I don't play games offline even if I just got the game. If the online isn't cutting it then to me it PHAILS.

So for now........

Xbox 360 > PS3
