Metal Gear Solid 4 Bosses walkthrough

Yes, I've already beaten MGS 4, and it was a beautiful game. So here are your boss walkthroughs *In Order* because they're a bit hard.. If you don't believe that these are accurate, just go play the game. I beat it in 13 hours, and a 2 day time period. I don't want people going, wow that's such a lie, there's no way you beat it already. Well, get over it, because I'm a dedicated gamer, and I did beat it. Haha, it was so awesome.

1: Laughing Octopus: Simple, just run around and shoot her she'll try to shoot back occasionally she'll roll at you, but she's normally down to low health in that case, just get behind a corner and wait for her to shoot about 15-20 shots. After she's knocked down she will do 1 of three things, 1) Hide in camo or as an object, 2) Shoot missles at you, just dodge or shoot those, or 3) Jump out the window, and then jump back in through one, so stay away from a window if that happens.

2: Raging Raven: This one is simple as well, when you fight her, run up the stairs, and then walk out of the building and keep firing, then when she goes to attack, move back in, and stay on floor 2, floor 1 she shoots missiles that go through the walls.

3: Crying Wolf: Equip your sniper rifle, and equip your Solid Eye to Night Vision, this will allow you to see through the nasty snow. Then pick her off one by one, she will then charge at you and try ramming you, just dodge out of the way when she gets close enough.

4: Vamp: Kay this one was the hardest to figure out, Vamp regenerates after being hit, no matter what. Now, you can keep talking to Otacon untill you get the answer, or just read this. You now have the Syringe in your invintory, equip it in your items, then actually equip it. Hit Vamp in the head, so he falls down, preferably with the M4, or P90 so your assured a headshot. Now go behind him, wait untill he gets up and starts stumbeling, grab him with CQC *Can't be a Rifle, only handgun/knife, and then push Triangle, to inject him, and that's it. =P Then you get the screen split in two and you have to destroy all of the Suicidal Gekko's. If you can multi-task you can watch Raiden rip Vamp a new one.

5: Liquid RAY: This one's pretty easy, you shoot your gatling gun first, making him guard, when he lets his guard down, you then fire your missiles, and pummel into him with R1, then hit Triangle to smash him.

5: Screaming Mantis: She's controlling yeah I know, easy way to defeat her though. When you see the strings above you, *you'll have to look hard* use your Syringe, that will no longer allow her to puppet you. If she grabs Meryl at any time, run over and knock her out. Same thing that Psycho Mantis tried to do, get her to shoot herself. No, and they explain switching your controller to 2 does not work now, just use the Syringe. Now, once completed shoot the Orange Puppet *Mantis Doll* Out of her grasp, it will then drop after about 5-6 times shooting it, allowing you to pick it up. Do it quick before she picks it up, then use it on her, and hold L1 and shake your controller, and bam, she's defeated after about 5 seconds. Pretty simple once you get it eh? Then you get a special surprise from a special someone in MGS for the playstation, but you don't fight. And you'll see why lol.

PS. ALL the girls will get out of their suits and try to "grab" you, don't let them do it, run and shoot them as fast as you can.

6: Liquid Snake: This is the final battle, Snake now has different moves, but they're the same moves you'll use, no combos or anything. *tear*. X = duck down/charge, L1 = Block, and R1 = Attack, whenever you throw a punch at Liquid, he will block afterwards, and then try and attack you, best thing I figured to do, duck down, and then run at him via *direction* + X and R1 spam his ***. Then it just kind of takes care of itself, after 2 cutscenes you will just need to walk up to him and keep pushing R1, then you'll end it. Congrats you've beaten MGS 4.


Hope this worked out for you, I kinda guessed actually on all how to beat these bosses except Vamp, I just couldn't get that untill Otacon told me after about the 4th try of talking to him. Lemme know how this worked out for you guys. =P
