COD 5

Has anyone heard the rumour that cod 5 will be set in WW2? Ive got COD 4 nd i really enjoyed all the up to date weapons so in my mind going back to stick grenades and wooden guns will be a real let down. Also infinity ward arent making the new call of duty are they?

The people that made CoD3 are making CoD5. Real let down imo.

It was revealed a long time ago that CoD5 was going to be set in WWII. You see the CoD series alternate between two creators Tryeach ann Infinity Ward i.e Infinity Ward made CoD2 and CoD4 Tryeach made CoD1 and CoD3. It is generally accepted that Infinity Ward makes the better game by far.

Anyway Tryeach started to work on it as soon as they finished CoD3 so they didn't know that CoD4 would be set in the modern day. This however could be a good and a bad thing because it has been two years in production which means it should be quite a good game but (for this community in particular) there will be very little glitches left to find.

Cod2 and 4 are by far the best ones. I've never even heard of cod3 :laughing:

Actually Infinity Made COD1 and COD2 and COD4. The original call of duty was on the PC and never released for the consoles.

Treyarch is a console developer and made
Call of duty:Finest Hour(PS2 and xbox)
Call of duty 2:Big red one(PS2 and xbox)
Call of duty 3(PS3, xbox 360, xbox, and Wii)

Notice no PC versions.

i have played them all.

Treyarch should never touch the CoD series again because the games they make are complete crap. IW makes games that run much better and have better gameplay mechanics. CoD3 was the only acceptable game that came from treyarch.

i would rater wait 2 years for an infity ward CoD than get a crappy CoD everyother year from treyarch.
