Someone help me please.

I had my external hdd fixed due to failing usb port. Now that it's already fixed, I can't get through FSD. Everytime I boot my xbox, it directly goes to the normal dash [un-jtagged].

What do you think is the problem? :frown:

Before anything else, I just want to say that Yes, my hdd is 100% fixed in a sense that my computer can now recognized it [I couldn't run it before] and no files had been deleted. This I'm sure since I had it fixed from the store where I bought my jtagged xbox.

I would appreciate if someone will answer. Thanks in advance =)

You have to add it to the launch.ini again.

; Default is what loads when you hold no buttons
; leave this blank if you want NXE as default
Default =

So, if FSD is on your USB, you'd add like:
Default = Usb:\FreeStyle\default.xex

It's already set that way.

Here's what inside launch.ini

[QuickLaunchButtons]
BUT_X = Hdd:\Content\0000000000000000\C0DE9999\00080000\C0DE99990F586558
Default = usb:\FSD\FreestyleDash.xex
[Settings]
nxemini = true
pingpatch = true

Any more answers? :confused:
When you reply to someone, use the reply button :wink:

Are you sure that launch.ini which you have, is the one being loaded?
If you have other launch.inis somewhere they have be loaded instead.

-He might be best off formatting the usb / HDD again and starting over.
Since it corrupted once, it may have corrupted the files.

*Do not do this unless every known option doesnt work. This.will delete all xb3 partitions on the disk*

It was not corrupted before. The problem with my HDD was the usb port. Nothing internally. What will happen if the xb3s will be deleted? Is there any option to save them as well?

Can you access Xexmenu from your retail dash still? If yes, copy your current launch.ini onto your desktop, turn off your console and plug all your storages in, then reboot and look for launch.ini files. Delete all the ones you find, then move rhe copied launch.ini back onto your usb and reboot once more. The USB should take priority.

Xexmenu should be in your "My Games" tab in the dashboard.
Do you have skype? Im not to familiar with jtags, but I have an rgh which should be one of the same.

A jtag and an RGH are the exact same. The only difference is that the Jtag is a software hack and the RGH is a hardware hack. And jtags also have instant boots.

Definitely not the only difference, but as far as a normal modified console user should be concerned, they're the same thing.

Thanks for all the replies! I managed to make it work =) It seems like the existing USB cable that I have is broken.
