Willowtree tut

This tut will be how to use Willowtree. Willowtree was created by Xanderchaos and Turk645.

Requirements
A way to connect your HDD to your computer
Xport or Xplorer360
Modio or CONcept
Of course, Willowtree

Extract your save from your HDD

Then open it in Willowtree

To identify which weapon is which. The weapons that are equipped are on the top of the weapons column.

Now for this tut I will create a Rocket Pistol with 7x damage.

Overwrite any weapon with the lines in my picture. However go look up the weapon parts in the Borderlands weapon parts thread for more parts. Here is the link to the weapon parts thread:[Borderlands] Weapon Parts + Effects To overwrite the line, just press it once and then write over it. Press save when you're done.
Now put it into modio or concept and rehash and resign.

Reinsert into your HDD with xport or xplorer360

Done! You can Experiment with the weapon parts. This tut was for the people who kept asking how to use Willowtree.

As more versions come out, Xander said/posted images of it being more user-friendly, and the things people really need help with isn't gone into depth here.

Beyond that, everyone needs to stop asking "well can I do this with it?" and just try whatever it is they want to do. You change strings and values. The worst that can happen is your save says "Corrupt" and you revert to your backup. I made this so people would help, not beg.

You can mix and match any part with another part really. I have yet to have a problem with the game not wanting to put certain parts with others. It's just the weapon looks fugly and all so that is the only down side. I still wish you could modify certain things more than the game allows you to.
