How to Mod Borderlands on Xbox 360

im so frustratiated just want one real good gun mod please help

do you guys think people would be interested in a huge game save for the 360 with a ton of yellow or better guns,purple shields and purple class mods

i have my bags modded and im farming now .....

I'm having a little trouble getting this to work right. I took my current profile and made a copy and made changes to it. I then named it Save0002.sav and load it back up. In the load character menu i can see my original siren lvl 19, then another one lvl 50.

If i play with the lvl 50 and then exit and go back to the load character menu they both end up saying lvl 50 and both in the same map/mission.

Something I'm not doing right?

no this is normal (for now)
its resaving over Save0001.sav

i THINK it's because all you did to save 2 was rename it save 2 (it was Save0001.sav but you changed it to Save0002.sav)
so i think that it is still registered as Save0001.sav even after you rename it

I thought that too, so i started a new game and made a second character and edited that one and it still does it...But i have another idea i think i may try later tonight and see if i can get it working

there is a value in teh save for what slot it saves over. I know exactly where it is and its easy to change. Oddly enough its a few bytes different between the 360 and PC so i dont know how it will be on the ps3 ahouth it should be easy to spot.

by default setting whenever you edit a file with HxD
it makes a .bak file of the original before editing and saves over the current file

So even if it's a .bak file it will still work in game?

it should still be saving over the file that you are editing
it just makes a backup of how the file looked before you started to edit it

to answer you, the original .sav file isnt the original any more. the .back is the original and the .sav is the New (Hex edited) one.
