no by acc i meant accessory, for each individual weapon, as what give the x7 modifer for the revolver is acc2_Masher, but i wanted to have the multiplier with my chimera attack. i have a feeling it isnt, but here to hoping

I know this is a 360 forum, but, this is the only thread where i ever found some really usefull informations...

So, this message is only for PC users (maybe some 360 users, but i doubt it), on pc, in the saveData folder, we have the SaveXXXX.sav files and the Player.wsg. I tried to program a simple editor, but the problem i encountered, was that in fact i didn't really edit a .sav file, i red and stored the content in the memory, edit the data and write a new file with the very same name over the old one. I did'nt make some 'critical' modifications, and i knwo this file is good, but still, the game now crash cause of corupt save... i restored the backup i made, but event if this is the very same file, it doesn't work... i guessed it was cause of som kinda partial hashing or somethin' stored in Player.wsg... And what i red here tend to confirm it. But i still don't figure out upon what information ( and more important how ?) this annoying file is built.

To try to figure it out, I made a small python script (2.5 and >) that show the differences and the common passage of two files, and it works pretty well, but... hell, if this script can help a pc users to figure out how this player.wsg work, that would be great.

Hey I was trying to search to mod my slots and I have max 42 slots cause I did all of the claptrap rescues. At least that's how much you should have once you finish. I maxed out my slots for newb characters with only 12 slots since the value was easy to find. I did that as a test... But when I try to search for 42 in the hex it comes up as 2A. I don't know how I should search that. I tried 002A and it didn't look the same as when I did 000C to find the 12 slots. Can someone help or did anyone else run into this problem? Thanks

Ok I'm using HxD to edit some weapons, I'm trying to replace "Agd_weap_names_shared.Prefix_Tech.Prefix_DTIncend iary4_Combustion...." with "7gd_weap_names_shared.Prefix.Prefix_Projectiles1_ Double...." however after i rehash/resign and try to load the save it startss me over as it were a new character. I included the size char of "7" and I pasted over the original chunk or code via the "paste insert" option to preserve everything else. Why isn't it working? I can make other changes to like the sight level by simply changeing the original value of say 1 to 4 and that works but I cant for the life of me change the prefixes becuase the lengths are different.

Use WillowTree instead of a hex editor.

just so you guys know though if your trying to beef up your weapons with hex pretty much all the good weapons are already at 05 meaning most gold and high end blues and purples even some greens are maxed out which kinda sucks

plus it pushes it up to level 48 reqirement but you never know i still have found a couple good things out there to upgrade. Also if you guys need it i have gold epics with really good stuff ill dupe with you online so you can play around with those parts just message me my gamertag is foogi.

Anyone post some WillowTree exports or just weapon lines to copy/paste.
Id like a few decent sniper rifles so i cand upe to 1-5 ratings.

Nice tut but somehow i cant change my backpack.
I have also different text around where u change it.

So what i want to know is if somone could edit my save.
The backpack max space is 18 but i want 50.

I have tested the other tuts they are no problem those are working.
