That's what I've been doing. I use the regular config as a template and then I copy and paste my modified version into the L4D usersettings file. Yes I use paste-write.

Cleaaring the Cache is annoying, he was asking about it being modded online again since the last update. To be able to Mod Left 4 Dead offline, go to your 360 cache in Xplorer/Xport/whatever program you use, and Delete the file named:

TU_12K221G_0000004000000.00000000000G1

that is the Left 4 Dead Update.

Ok...idk why its not working. I've deleted the cache and everything L4D, it keeps saying my usersettings is corrupted even though I rehashed/resigned it.... I even deleted the Survival pack ffs.... HELP?!

Okay, from what I'm thinking, if you add

sv_cheats 1
sb_all_bot_team 1
jointeam 3
z_spawn hunter

to the head of your usersettings file, it should make you join the infected team as a hunter as soon as you start single player. It works on the computer version.
