Re: COD 5 - World At War

This game will have to do a hell of a lot to top CoD4. Let's hope it does.

Re: COD 5 - World At War

You MIGHT should have posted it in the other games thread, but not sure

I don't think that I will enjoy this game as much as cod4, notice i said 'enjoy' as much

I do believe that this will be a good game tho.

I love the fact that you can set fire to grass and trees and it will spread like wild fire, awesome! No more sniping from long grass! I was reading some review a guy did that has watched someone play a level as a demo. He was saying one guy went into this wooden hut, so someone just set fire to it and waited for him to run out on fire, the guy inside pulled out an LMG, blasted the side of the hut out and flanked the guy who was just stood watching and killed him! Im looking forward to the environment being more interactive like this, i just hope its not as easy as battlefield to blow up buildings and such. Sniping from trees will be cool, but you can set them on fire too which should provide epic luls. Apparantly the enemies are more intelligent too on single player, you will be ambushed from all different directions in a more guerilla warfare type way.

Can a mod please move this topic to 'other games'?

A lot of people are saying this but they couldnt really do the same era, and I wouldnt want cod to go futuristic (halo like), im not a fan of futuristic games. I would have prefered it to be the british/american again, thought that was a nice feature for cod4 but looks like i'll have to be a yankee doodle!

Even though the current cod is called "modern warfare", it's not really in modern places. Like they could base most of the maps in middle eastern countries for example. There are also more modern weapons that could be used. OR they could even make up new wars with different countries around the world and still keep it modern. For example create a war with US/Britian VS. China. That would be f-ing sweet.

I think that its a kinda hard thing to say about modern war and WWll, b/c i'm sure it wasn't an easy decision.
