Thumbs up The BEST Way to Clear Your Xbox Jewel

ok its really simple....

what you need:
paint stripper (you can get this at wal mart, canadian tire [any hardware store really])
a candle

a match

a rag
a butter knife
thats it..

1) take out your jewel and get the black stuff off the back.
2) take your candel light it and drip the melted wax into the holes where your xbox logo is, (this is to prevent the chrome paint from comming off), scrape the excess wax off with a butter knife.
3) take a shalow bowl and pour in some paint stripper, (just enough to cover the jewel completely.
4) take your rag wipe off the paint.
****you can take the wax back out with your pencil that is NOT sharp but it makes no difference if you leave it in.****

if you have any questions ask and ill post back

Yeah you have to be really carefull what you do cause using paint thinner can hurt the plastic. I did that and while I was scrubbing the paint off, the jewel broke in two.

thinner rubs it of stripper actually lifts it off and then you can just peel the paint off

what i do for mine [ i dont have sprays, so i paint the jewels with abstarct metalic markers] is i take of the jewel heating it up ewith a hair dryer for 6 minuter flat, then i remove the foam with a wall paint scraper [a sharp flat spatcheler that scraps of extra wall paint] and i use sandpaper after that, i scrap off the green paint, and now the surface is very rough, so the marker pain will flow in and fill up easily so no black will be visible once i put it back on the xbox, and voila, i have made ove 15 jewels for some of my friends like that and made over 40 dolars, lolz

Nail Polish is gonna cloud your jewel.
I would take some really fine grit sand paper, and slowly sand all the paint off.
Then after its all off, hit it with toothpaste and it will be nice and shiny.
