If you have xlink problems...Heres a tut

I am using diffrent routers but im sure it will be somthing alike............ ok first off go to xlinks main website make a account and download xlink


Ok open up xlink and go to this to find out if you have problems..




Now if this is what it says that i have in red or atleast one of them that should be your problem




That means you cannot connect to xlink..
now its most likely your router,,,,
ok now go into xlink config,,

,and change the kai deep port to 30000

make sure "launch UI"and "Launch Engine" is checked..

put network adaptor as "auto detect and dont lock....

close engine as "never"... as is in this picture




Ok once you have done that you need to get into your router...

Make sure your router is hooked up to your computer right now...

Go to run




than type in cmd and this screen should pop up






Than type ipconfig and this should pull up and your default gateway in red is your routers ip address kind of.....Write your Default gateway down. and your ip address that is in the same screen I blacked mine out so no one could see..






Ok now that you wrote down your default gateway go to your web browser and type in your default gateway and a screen should pop up kind of like these pictures or something should pop up..






The default username and password are admin and admin unless you changed em like me =P


ok once your logged in your router go to NAT settings... if its not in there look around your router for somthing like these pictures








But dont change anything other than that unless you know what your doing...once you find that than add a port like the pictures above.....

all routers are diffrent so it will probably be somewhat diffrent but same idea =P

it should start working correctly! Now your xlink should look like this!

dude for some reason i cant even log in with my xtag when i try 2 popups come up and say
Error initializing PSSDK_DLL library
and another one says
Xlink Kai Evolution 7 Engine has stopped working
whats going on can you or someone help?

Try redownloading xlink and make sure u select the right computer operator system? and if u cant get that i dont know what to tell u just get xboxconnect lol

I have a question.

I am running xlink kai off of a computer using mac os x and everytime i try o connect to a game the engine crashes or just hangs or doesn't see any games at all.

What gives??
