Easiest way to repair xbox error!

This is a discussion about Easiest way to repair xbox error! within the Other Tutorials section, where you will Find tutorials on how to connect to your Xbox from your computer (FTP) and other miscellaneous tutorials.; Well, error 13 or any other error that will still boot games. Here's the simplified version: Put in the xbox game, and boot up the xbox. (make sure your internet is not connected to it)

Easiest way to repair xbox error!
Well, error 13 or any other error that will still boot games. Here's the simplified version:


Put in the xbox game, and boot up the xbox.

(make sure your internet is not connected to it)
-Then click on xbox live, and choose to create a new account
It will tell you that it "needs to update some files". Once it's finished it will take you to the new account menu. Shut down the xbox, and reboot. YOu should have your dash back. This has so far worked successfully for me two times on two of my xboxes. It might have to be a newer game though, that has the 5960 files.

I used Splintercell: Chaos Theory, so you can use that as a reference point.

This might be a silly question, but is this for the original xbox?

Oh, how do you fix error 21? I never got that error, but it doesn't hurt not to know how to fix it...

You get that error when your Dashboard gets deleted somehow and it cant find it when it tries to boot up.

Hi My xbox reads a error 5 when it boots up without my boot disk in it any idea on what i should doo maby i should post a new thread?

Your HDD is unlocked. Without your eeprom, you need a modchip to run your xbox. Your eeprom is needed to lock back the HDD.
