| How To: Wii Recieves Any Email I've created a new method that's Sooo much easier, and less of a hassle, and makes so much more sense, that I'm surprised that I didn't think of it before. It sorta makes all my work look silly. lol. It requires a Gmail Account. Three steps: Step 1: Find Your Wii's Email To find your Wii's email, you simply register your real email address in the address book. It will then send you an email about confirmation. The Add the email you want to recieve the mail from with your Wii by clicking Register. Step 2: Enable Email Forwarding In your Gmail Account. Click on Settings in the Top Right hand corner of your Gmail Account, and select Forwarding. Click Create Filter, and type in the email address you put in your Wii/want to receive mail from. Click Next Step, and type in your Wii's Email Address And you're Done! | ||||||

When you forward mail like that, the Wii still sees it as from whatever address it came from (it doesn't change to your address). The only way I've been able to get it to work is to still have the person authorized on my Wii, and simply use it as an easier to remember alias. Have you tested this out with email addresses that are not registered to your Wii? If you have, I'm curious how you were able to get around it as I did exactly the same thing you outlined above and it does not seem to work. Adora | ||||||
