What stops a nuke?

So me and my friend where messing around in a private match, just to find out the EMP doesn't stop a Nuke. So I'm wondering, If an EMP which stop's basically everything in the game can't stop a Nuke what can?

I've heard an EMP can, but never have gotten around to testing it.
