MW2 Pro perks how do they work?

How do the pro versions of The perks work do you get both effects or just one?

You get increased effects. Lets say I have bling, I get the right number of kills while using this perk and I unlock the pro form of it. With regular bling you only get two attachments on ONE gun. With the pro form you get it on both the primary and secondary gun.

It's basically just an add on to the perk. Yes you get both effects at once.

Example: Steady aim is the perk which gives you increased hip fire. Steady aim pro is the pro upgrade which gives you Longer Hold breath duration.
