San Andreas Modding w/ Notepad!

this is a tutorial on how to mod GTA Sand Andreas for xbox using only notepad text editor.


from your computer, through FTP, go to the "Data" folder in the game (im assuming you have it on your xbox hard drive already)


you can edit all of these files but the highlighted files will be easiest for beginners:



Im going to edit "handling.cfg" to change the values for the NRG

here is a picture of that; the list of contents at the beginning will tell you what letters represent as far as columns of data.



highlighed here are the important values for the NRG to edit, you can play around with them until you find what you want. (refer to the table of contents to find what each number means because they are not all labled)



and here are the rest, these are on a different line of code, about two or three sections down from the first NRG label

This does work and yes, you can make the NRG go the speed of light

yeah, haha, so fast the game has to load to catch up with you

to make an NRG go the speen of light, copy and paste this over the first instance of NRG500 on notepad
