Need help

Does anyone here know anything about circuitboards? Because I have a question.

If I have a circuit board and I remove a component will it still work? If not could I just solder on a wire that connects the two points?

Really desperate here. thanks

I'm not 100% sure, but most of the time you have to solder a wire to complete the circuit... it differs on each board
