A little about me and my se7ensins journey:
I was first brought into modding by Duck, more known under the aliases DuckHead dukheddd. First brought on my ISO modding GTA IV.
I got what i needed from GameTuTs, but struggled burning the ISO`s. So i made an account on se7ensins to seek advice from XxShadovVxX, formally know as "Legit Modder".
He was kind and spent time with me, and got my mods to work.
After that i kind of lurked behind the scenes of the GTA scene. Weeks and months went by, and i decided to have a go, by then i was talking with some of the best known GTA
modders: Brady Mac, XxShadovVxX, Cathering [PUN1SHM3NT], and DuckHead.
I found buring disks, and constantly hotswapping an expensive game. This is where i met rob lee rigby online, and we got talking. He was also interested in modding, and he went out and bought 200
DL DVDs for mod testing. I burnt my mods off, on his laptop over teamviewer. There he would test them etc. He then donated me a banned flashed console to test the mods on too. Hence why you will find his
name in the credits on my offline mods.
We made some decent mods in the end, then we started selling these over xbox live for £10-£15 per disk.
I traded a GTA mod disc for a RROD xbox to someone on xbox live. I overheated it and it was exploitable, i then went out and bought a soldering iron, resistors etc. My girlfriend soldered it all in for me [as i couldn`t solder to save my life], And dumped the nand with a home made and hacked up LPT cable.
At this time XBR3 was the current dash, and it was a difficult nand to alter. I hadn`t got a clue, and i killed the console and it wouldn`t power up.
Out of the modded ISO`s money i also bought a RROD xbox off eBay from down the road for £19. I couldn`t fix the RROD but managed to dump the nand, and its CB version was exploitable.
At this time i had visited the "Xbox 360 Support" section, and i noticed slimwadey there. So i messaged him, asking him if he could fix those 2 for me. He offered to trade me these 2 unbanned consoles for a banned Xenon he had.
We did this, and i had my first Jtag <3.
By this time, jtags online and 10th lobbies on MW2 were in full swing. So i got back onto GameTuTs and downloaded all the necessary files, and began to system link peple in MW2, and ran infection lobbies. I made almost £500
from system linking, as well as piles of XBL gold, and M$ points. This is where i met Jamie, we ran infection lobbies together, and he eventually got a Jtag, and starting system linking too.
Out of this i started buying RROD consoles from eBay. And began fixing them with bolts and washers, and a tube of 3 year old thermal paste and a borrowed heatgun.
I knew i couldn`t tag these, so once again i messaged slimwadey, and asked him if he wanted to tag them for me if i paid him. Going rate then was about £40. But he offered the alternative of sending down 5 exploitable consoles, and him keeping 1 as payment.
So thats what we did. Every 2 weeks i would send him down 5 consoles and he would ship back 4 on the Friday. I`d bundle them together with power packs etc, and advertise them on here. By the following Friday, they had all sold. The going rate at that time was £180
for a full unbanned Xenon system. Myself and slimwadey kept this up for a good few months, til the plentiful supply of exploitable RROD consoles dried up. I used to buy around 5 a week, and at the beginning it was about 4 out of 5 that turned out to be exploitable.
As the months went on, it gradually got less and less. And i`d be lucky if i got 1 in every 5 consoles. So we decided it had come to an end. So me and slim stopped trading.
By this time 9199 was out, and the NAND-X was released. So i bought a few more consoles. And a few turned out to be exploitable, i had a go, and VALAH! I had tagged my first console, sold it and bought more. And from then, reading all the info i needed from our very own support section, i started tagging consoles.
And then moved to repairing them, and them to modding them etc etc.
From there, i gained experience, ran xbox support with iMoses.
And here we are, and the rest is history.
My shoutouts to the main players who were with me along my journey [In no order].
Duckhead - For introducing me to the whole modding scene, and teaching me how to burn ISO`s correctly.
XxShadovVxX - For helping me burn my first disc, and helping me with my problems.
Cathering - For helping me make the "Offline GTA mods". And for his "subtle" critism.
rob lee rigby - For all the help he`d given me, the access to his laptop and the donation of a flashed xbox for mods testing.
slimwadey - For giving me my first Jtag, and helping my start my business on here.
Ells - For always being there, [And 1 of the only 3 that has my mobile number and AIM]. I bonded most with Ells [No Homo], and we have stuck talking since we first spoke.
iMoses - For always helping me in whatever i`d get stuck on.
GhostZz - For buying the first Jtag from me and slim
CLoWN - For always sorting my sh*t. We`ve had a recent fallout over neg rep, but the <3 is still there [i hope]
dudeeitsbrian - For the MW2 patches i always used.
Jamie - For running lobbies with me, and always being around.
Degree - I met him on an IRC server i used to Ddos from, and have spoken to him ever since [on & off].
Naft - Another smod to always sort my problems and keep me in check. I find him to probably be the most interlectual person i have spoken to on here.
OmG iTz Yo MoMa - For first getting my mods first onto YouTube. For teaching me how to Ddos, and generally getting me out of situations on XBL.
Socius - For generally being a decent guy, and always sorting me out good deals.
STRATEGIZER - For converting my mods for use on PS3, which turned out to be a massive hit to PSN users, and got me a lot of publicity on YouTube.
Swizzy - For giving me a second chance instead of a ban, and sorting matters for me.
Icy-Tank - For hooking me up on TTG, getting rid of my impersonator, buying me gold membership, and basically being the best xboxer repairer on here.
Skrusby - For keeping me in check, and out of trouble.
TehPhelix - For helping me generally and throughout. And banning the guy that first scammed me.
JimiHendrix - For giving me my first ever iPod.
Matt - He`s 1 of the most decent guys on here, and i see a staff position in line for him, in the Fifa forums.
IEATXP - For voting for me each and every month for MOTM, to make sure i stood at least a chance of winning it.Interact
