ipod touch screen wont work for apps

so i have an ipod touch and its jailbraked and everything was working good until i played a game which froze it but then i restarted it.
now the ipod touch works on the springboard and choosing the applications, but once i open an application the touch screen doesnt work. even when i go to music videos or settings it wont register my touch!!
what should i do?
i already tried hard resetting but still same thing, it only works on the springboard once i open any application it doesnt register the touch.
i noe how to reset the ipod, but i need to know how to make the touch work on apps. can anyone help me?

try restoring then see if it works if so jailbreak again
if not bring ti to an apple store
