Strange vid crashes ??

Playing any vids works for about 3-5 min before it hangs and returns me to the video list. I have plenty of memory and the itouch does not usually

Unanswered: Strange vid crashes ??
I have an itouch 1.1.4 jailbroken. Playing any vids works for about 3-5 min before it hangs and returns me to the video list. I have plenty of memory and the itouch does not usually crash (although it has before).
I've used 4 different converters and tried both DVD's and my personal cam movies. All with the same result. Just before it crashes, the movie will pixelate and then the picture freezes or goes into ff mode for several seconds before returning to the vid list screen.
Any ideas???
