Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Award(s): 0   | Unanswered: NEED HELP I was trying to downgrade my i touch to 1.1.1 then i disconnected. I tried downloading and installing 1.1.4 form itunes. It said error and that it couldn't/ Now my screen is just lit up white. Can someone help Me Plz.  | ||||||

Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Award(s): 0  | you need to put your itouch into DFU mode. Connect your itouch to your computer. Hold down home+sleep. untill you hear windows make a noise that the device is disconected. You should also see it disapear from itunes. Then let go of sleep BUT continue holding down home for like 10 seconds until your computer detects it as apple developer firmware upgrade device mode thing. then do a restore and it should work without a problem. also itunes will detect it as "iPod" instead of "iTouch" same thing though | ||||||
