Unanswered: headphone jack
okay my itouch is a little messed up the sound doesnt work to good as in you have to play around with the jack to get it to come out of both ears. are there any simple fixes for this problem?

Sounds like your touch is getting a little old and might need a replacement =/. Hopefully you still have a warranty on it.

1st, try a different set of headphones.

If that doesn't work you could try and fix it yourself. Open it up and you will see exactly what you need to do. It's probably just a loose wire or two.

take it to any apple store, and they exchange it on the spot! i ddi that to one of my older ipods and they gave me a brand new one.

Yeah, my first Video started having problems with the headphone jack a month after I got it. Took it to the Apple store and they gave me a brand new one on the spot.

Is the jack recessed like the iPhone? Because if you're using earphones that don't fit in the recessed jack poor contact could cause your problem.
