I downgraded my 16gb itouch from 1.1.4 to 1.1.1 and jailbroke it and installed the installer app. I had the 300mb of space problem so through the information I found i tried turning off the itouch then turning it back on. Here is where my problem begins. Upon restarting the itouch hangs on the apple logo. I tried plugging the itouch into the usb cord and there was no difference. Ok so I tried going into restore mode, well it wont even reach that screen. So my problem is I just have an itouch that sits on the apple logo and Im looking for some help ![]() Many Thanks, Richard I have to apologize, I finally got it to go into recovery mode. For future reference here is what i did. 1. Let the itouch boot to the apple screen (where it just stops booting) 2. Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons 3. Let the itouch turn off then turn back on, once it turns back on release the sleep button but CONTINUE to hold the home button. 4. The connect to itunes icon should show up. *NOTE* this method is hardcoded into the itouch so jailbreak shouldn't affect this process. Thanks anyways Last edited by tamurich; 03-08-2008 at 05:42 PM.
