Unanswered: Need help please. forgot passcode
Long story but a couple weeks ago my friend and I where drivivn around and he changed my passcode on my ipod touch. Later on that night. We got into a crash. My friend didnt make it..:cry2:
I walked away with a couple scratches. So idk how im going to get my passcode. Is there anyway to reset it?
please let me know guys.

you have to restore it through iTunes... No harm done, you'll just have to re-sync all of your stuff, and re-jailbreak if you've done so already. basically, your Touch will be like it was out of the box, no worries.

Shouldnt you be sad that your friend died rather then being worried about your Itouches passcode?..

Anyways like Nightcast said just restore it, if you want to restore it to 1.1.1 download the 1.1.1 firmware and then hold shift then press restore in Itunes and select the 1.1.1

its been about 3 weeks. But yea it just something ive put aside for awhile and decided to get it fixed. he wasnt a close friend, but it still sucks that hes gone cuz I just got to know him about a week ago before the accident. i dont like to talk about it. so thats why i didnt explain it.
but thanks nightcast ill try when I get home from school.

ok I have a problem. When I open up itunes and connect my touch it says i can don't anything until i unlock it. and thats my problem I don't know my passcode..

I'm thinking you could use iphuck to manually enter recovery mode...

doesn't work..
every time I open itunes it says i need to UNLOCK the ipod before I can continue to do anything.

so you put it in recovery mode (the icon that shows the cord connecting to the whatever)?
