I have downloaded films in the itunes library in mpeg4 but i cannot drag them in to my itouch. Itunes will allow me to load a 5 minutes

Down loading films
I have the latest version of itunes. I have downloaded films in the itunes library in mpeg4 but i cannot drag them in to my itouch. Itunes will allow me to load a 5 minutes of film on the itouch but not a full length one. Anyone any ideas!!!!!!
