How to Jailbreak 1.1.4 iTouch Without Downgrade/Upgrading

Jailbreaking the iPod Touch Using ZiPhone v2.6

ZiPhone released an Program that can now Jailbreak your 1.1.4 without needing to downgrade then upgrade ect. I have tested this and it has worked perfectly. i did a restore to get to 1.1.4 so i started Fresh but you can try upgrading normally.

Note: In this tutorial i use an 8 Gig iTouch but it works exactly the same with 16 gigs.

Requirements:
ZiPhone GUI v2.6 - (not the beta)
iTouch - any firmware

Jailbreaking:
Step 1: Get your iTouch to firmware 1.1.4 by upgrading through iTunes. (Restoring it to 1.1.4 is suggested but you may try just upgrading)

You want to see the below Picture.



Step 2: Download ZiPhone GUI v2.6

Step 3: Connect your iTouch and open iTunes AND ZiPhone so they are both Running.


Step 4: Click the "iPod Touch" button


Step 5: Sit Back and Watch. You should see this in ZiPhone


Step 6: If all went according to plan you should get this message from ZiPhone


Congrats you now have a Jailbroken iTouch version 1.1.4 Using this method should eliminate the bugs that you would have gotten from jailbreaking by upgrading.

crap . w.e its not like anyone could do anything with it. they have to have the physical number. Thanks for pointing that out ill edit it out now.

also i have a special itouch cuz the week i got mine was hte last week to have the very first firmware 3v3r

this tutorial works with the 1.1.3 and 1.1.4 iPod Touches

and yes im sure you could sell it for more. But sell quick before Everyone has jailbroken 1.1.4

Edit - If you want to undo the changes there is also a button in ZiPhone to do that

K, adding to this....i see the ZiphoneGui apllication....but its locked....like...theres a big lock icon and i can't seem to open it...anyone know whats wrong....theres a couple of batch files on top....one does say ipod jailbreak but it just puts my ipod into recovery mode and doesn't restore it....Ahhgggg what do i do????

ok i have the Z like basically link right

then what do i do because

i have clicked on it then click the download ziphone (main)

then click the one thing at the top that has the windows sign and safari says that its too big to open

You download this program on ur PC.... Windows. Not Touch or Mac or Safari

you run the ZiPhone GUI thing

K this is annoying me....i've downloaded everything....its in a zip file...i extracted and when i try to click the ZiphoneGUI (which the icon looks like a big lock) it doesn't open it, just says "The Application failed to intialize properly (0xc0000135). click on ok to terminate the application" what do i do?
