Whenever I enter the IP given to me after pressing the blue arrow on the WiFi section of my iTouch into PuTTy, it says that the Connection is Refused...

I don't understand why...

I'm not familiar with the iTouch, so I don't fully know what you're working with...but a few questions, and I may be able to help you.

You're trying to connect the iTouch to your router for file-access purposes, right? What security mode do you have enabled on your router?

I would try disabling security entirely (temporarily), and seeing if the touch will connect then. If not...then you've just narrowed down the fact that it's not server-side error.

K, did some reading, and it would seem that you need to make sure that wi-fi is enabled and open on your iTouch, which I'd guess you've already done. Second, double-check the IP used. You sure you're using the right address?

And third...turn off your firewall if you've got one. Disable all wireless security as well...

Lemme know if any of this works...if not, we can try some other stuff.
