Jailbreak help!

This is a discussion about Jailbreak help! within the iTouch Modding section, where you will Learn how to Jailbreak your iTouch, install custom software, and hardware modifications.; I have the new firmware now (2.0.2) and i tried using the winpwn, but when i put my ipod into Duf(i think) mode or whatever, my itunes wont detect my ipod what should i do??

Jailbreak help!

Are you sure your ipod is in DFU mode and not just turned off?

Im pretty sure, i hold the home and power buttons until the screen goes black then keep holding the home button right? should the ipod be connected to the computer??

yeah, plug it into the computer, Hold the buttons 10 seconds and the screen will go black. Let go of the Sleep/Wake button. Continue holding the Home button for another 10 seconds and iTunes will detect that the iPhone is in recovery mode and display a pop up.

That should work

That should work
I got that to work, but now when i try to restore it, it says that it cant be restored because of error 1?

try restoring your ipod normally again and then try and hack it a second time

NVM, i got it to work,i had the wrong damn ipsw, and it took me forever to find the right one
