Permission denied error in terminal

im trying to install metasploit on my iPod touch using the following guide Technically Current How to get Metasploit on your iPod Touch

and when i enter

lm -s /var/root/msf/msfweb /usr/bin

terminal returns

ln: /usr/bin/msfweb: permission denied

can anyone help i have tried doing sudo but that dosnt work for ipod please help

What does metasploit do? If you get back to me before I get offline I will install it and see what happens for me. If the same thing happens Ill troubleshoot and let you know what I come up with.

After reading the tut a lil bit, I have a question. did you try to set the Permission for the framework folder you renamed to to "msf" in "/var/root folder" to 0775 instead of 0755?

No I set it to 0755 and it dosnt do anything to your iPod it is a program that has multiple exploits for testing your networks security that you choose to use

ok Ill give it a try and see what happens. Ill edit this post when I do it.

Looks Like I wont be able to help you out cause Im running later firmware and I have "Cydia" instead of "Installer" and I cant find any of the Programs needed (i.e. Term-vt100, SysInfo, Perl) and they are needed to start and kill the proccess.
