the toc2rta doesnt work you have to use jailbreakme.com i tried it alot of time when i first hacked my touch it didnt work. You just have to downgrade to 1.1.1 then go to jailbreakme.com and download the installer package

i got to the point where i was supposed to run the touchFree excutable, but then it came up with a "touchFree.exe - .NET Framework Initialization Error
To run this application, you must first install one of the following versions of the .NET Framework: v2.0.50727
Contact your application publisher for instructions about obtaining the appropriate version of the .NET Framework."

What is wrong here/ what should i do?

How come if Apple said that the iTouch and the iPhone run a FULL mac os X we have to spend so much time and money on opening what should be a fairly slow fully usable mini computer?

you probably don't have the newest .net framework on your computer

no see i think that that was the problem b/c i had that version of the .Net Framework and it was not working.

Because it doesn't have enough power to run a full blown OS. That would be like saying my 13 year computer runs Windows 98 why can't it run Vista?

my network is secured with a password and when i run putty and put my ip the connection is refused anyway i can fix that?

yeah there is a lot of games that you can down load to your touch but I would limit yourself to like one extra page because when you have to many icons it slows down the speed of your touch. Or at least it did for me
