how do add theme to ipod

like i have the file i just dont know how to upload it..

also, you have to have the hack on your ipod before you can apply a theme for your ipod. the hack is what makes it work different, and the theme is all the pictures that make up stuff like the background, the battery meter and a lot of other stuff.

That means you have a 5G, NOT 5.5G. So go download the 5G Showtime File

Now go download iPodWizard. Click "Load firmware file". Select the .bin file you downloaded. "Write to iPod".

ok, that means it is 5gen. (if it had the search feature it would be 5.5gen)
download the hack file:
showtime - 5G v2.rar

and im guessing you already have ipodwizard for you computer.

now make sure you are an admin on your computer or make sure you are logged on to an admin's account on the computer.
and plug your ipod in and open itunes. now your ipod's window should come up in itunes. at there should be four check boxes at the bottom of that ipod window in itunes. make sure "open itunes when ipod is inserted" is UNchecked and "enable disk use" is CHECKED. and apply those changes. now close itunes.

now open ipodwizard and in the top left side there should be a dropdown box. make sure it has "firmware file" selected. then next to that hit "load" and look for the downloaded firmware, or "hack" file and open it in ipodwizard. wait for it to load. (this takes me a while) now hit "write to ipod" and DONT CLICK ANYTHING OR PULL UP ANOTHER WINDOW WHILE IT IS WRITING IT TO YOUR IPOD. AND MAKE SURE YOU ARE EXITED OUT OF ITUNES OR ANYTHING ELSE THAT USES YOUR IPOD.

then safe eject and wait for it to restart. it should have showtime on it!

in the drop down bar go to load frimware file
find where you saved showtime
then the button load
then click right to ipod
click eject

your done

yeah, but disk use has to be enabled and itunes should be closed. and while its writing, make sure to leave it running in front of everything else. (im not sure why. but the makers say that. =\ so i would do it just to make sure)

i figured it out...do you know where i can select themes now?

um... well i used to have a theme thread (like my hack thread) until people complained that i "stole" their posts or somethin like that. but im not really sure that there are any themes for showtime... unless its just a background change or something. did you end up putting showtime on it?
