Can you transfer a playlist?

Is there anyway I can transfer a playlist from one ipod to another? Assume the second ipod has no songs on it.

I don't know why you couldn't just save the playlist and import it on the other iPod

or just in your itunes transfer the songs from you library onto your desktop and onto the other ipod.
