syncing ipod

My friend is going to erase his computer, he has some music on his ipod. Would he be able to resync it so all the music goes back onto his computer?

no... you can however download a program such as IpodRipper, and once his computer is formatted, it will rip all the songs off your ipod and duplicate them onto your new formated computer so its all back.

examples of these programs are as follows:

iPod rip software, transfer iPod to iTunes, backup iPod and iPhone music, enable iPhone and iPod Touch disk mode

Xilisoft iPod Rip - iPod Copy, iPod Backup, Copy iPod to PC & iTunes

Alright cool. After he rips it he can just sync it like normal, right?
