ipod nano assitance

my sisters ipod nano pink is a year old, it has never been dropped it has never been soaked in water, or nothing. but for some reason, she will charge it for a full 24 hours and it would only last for 2 hours, when it is supposed to last for 24 hours like it said, this has been goin on for 2 weeks, could this be a battery related problem?

It is probably a battery related problem. Does your sister let her iPod battery run all the way down? If she does that really runs down the life of the battery. I would take it to the Apple store the iPod is most likely out of warranty but they will be able to tell you if it is a battery problem or not.

Running it down to the red is fine. The only thing that would hurt the battery if she let it go all the way down to where it turns off.

Her battery is worn down and dead. thats what i think it is.

this is caused from always topping off your battery. Meaning charging to full from 80%. this is bad for the battery its better to run it low then charge to full. That will extend the life of the battery. If she bought her ipod within a year ago she can take it to apple store and get it replaced free from the warranty. ( im pretty sure)
