need help

i just put lunix on my ipod and the game doom, but i cant get out of lunix and when i connect and it asks me ifi want to go into disk mode i press yes and it doesnt show up on my computer. can anyone help me witht his. i also wanted to know if there are any more games you can download for lunix. i have an ipod nano 1st gen. 1 gig i been experimenting with. i also tried restarting it and it just reboosts in lunix.

hold menu and the center button and it should reboot

chances are its going to go strait back in to IPL tho

so your going to need to get the IPL loader witch will let you choose what os you want

i cant even put it into disk mode to download that. i cant even turn t off. it wont let me turn it off. i just restarts

ok that works for me to connect it. but after that i added it to my notes and when i try to use it. it just goes to a green and black screen. i dont get it, and the info on the page is really confusing.

i no it says 30 gig but it will work for what your doing

unzip it

open the folder called "4. run"

then open 2. "run ipod mannager.exe"

run ipod manager.exe

ok i got that to work, but now a black screen pops up saying the type is unknown. itunes works on it, and disk mode. but its not letting me use lunix.

Does it say any thing about your "FAT" partrition

if so restore then run ipod manager again

i have tried to restore and run manager twice, and it still doesnt work. i doesnt say anything about that. the ipod software works but when i run linux. it jus shows the black screen. it even goes into disk mode without a problem.
