Unanswered: ipod gets hot
i dunno why but when i try to charge it it gets really hot so i put it in a bag and put it in the icebox for a few and took it out but same problem still happens i dunno what to do its a 30gb model number a1136 dunno what gen tho but if anyone can help i would get someone to give u a blowjob

Well, Im not sure about a solution, but i know that putting it in an icebox most likely wasnt good for it, to go from hot to cold so fast.......

I have never really heard of them getting hot. but like venomous said putting it in the freezer was prob not a good idea.

Putting it in the freezer was a horrible idea.

It's your battery.

It shouldn't be a problem, but if you're concerned about it you can go and pay Apple 60 dollars to give you a new battery.

yea don't charge it anymore, happened to my friend, and it literally, no lie, melted the plastic casing around the ipod, just go get it replaced.

now good luck buying that battery and installing it yourself, best bet is to spend some money and get a new one, hell if its a 30g video it will get upgraded in the process for no extra charge.

actally i already have taken it apart and just need to put a new battery in and snap it closed and got a new case with led's

I WILL NOT FLAME!!!!

yea it wasnt the battery i put it back to gether and everything should work right? well it still gets hot the hdd and the motherboard gets hotter then ****
