Help me i think i srewed up my ipod

i tried to put rockbox by using this tutorial (heres the link) How to Install Rockbox on your iPod
now my ipod says
" loading Rockbox...
Cant load rockbox.ipod:
file noy found
Hold MENU+Select to reboot
then Select+Play for disk mode"
i went to disk mode and all it says is ok to disconnect even though it is and it wont responed

this happen to me before all you have to do is dont charge the ipod so basicly wait for the battery to run out then connect it to a pc. it should reboot and open itunes {if u have it set to open itune} this is what happened to me and it coulod work for u. btw i screwed up 3 ipods ^^ happy linux

yo i fixed my ipod by taking off the unworking rockbox and now its working again ...But

now my itunes wont recognize it and asked me to restore it to its normal settings so i did but it wanted to restore it to a older generation so i cancelled it

now my computer will turn on itunes when i plug in my ipod but will not recongnize it in itunes

also i didnt have linux on my ipod when i tried to load rockbox the first time is that bad ?
