| Novice | My boss bought a 60GB iPod and a 160GB External HD. We took the External around to all his friends and took all of there music (He nows has over 3000 songs.) Now he wants to put certain songs from that External HD onto his iPod. He doesn't want ANY of the music to be copied onto his laptop (He only has 20GB left on his laptop anyways.) If anyone can help me or lead me to a tut, It would be greatly appreciated. To make things worse, he is leaving to Cancun in about 12 hours. So like ya...Help me, lmao. |

| 7S Enthusiast | Actually this is really simple, as i use my 250gig external for all my ipod music, just import the folder the music is on into itunes when the external is plugged in. File > add folder to liberary. Just make sure that the external is plugged in when you plug in the ipod, it it cant find the music then it will start deleting them off the ipod. |

| Junior Member | Just plug in the HD in the computer and dl the songs he wants just to the desktop and then put them on the ipod. Then just delete them from the computer. Then he won't know that you put the music on the compy. |
