Help out my Girlfriend Pl0x?

Wont charge. Nothing. I told her restore it but that didnt help. Any ideas? its a 30gb ipod video (thin model)

Her Ipod commited suicide.. Wont turn on. Wont charge. Nothing.

The battery is probably dead. Did you (or her) notice that it needed to be charged more and more often before it died?

As Haxalot said the battery is probably dead. Buy a new one off of eBay and replace it. It's easy to do, I've done it before.

idk... the battery's been acting fine, i just called her. one more note though, it doesnt even do **** when it's plugged into her computer...

then it's not the battery... The units just plain dead. I'd say maybe you should go and buy a new one?

Are you sure? I still think its a dead battery. I'd try replacing it anyways. Its only like $5. If it doesn't work then you're pretty much ****ed and have to buy a new iPod so its worth a try.

PS: If you can't get it fixed and don't want it you can give it to me.

Anyways, Im sure out of warranty you can pay Apple to fix it, but honestly might be a better idea to cut your losses and get a new ipod

Like they said above, I think your ipod is completly bricked,dead,unusable. Doesn't really seem like a battery issue.

Happened to my dads old one. Wouldn't charge or nothing on the computer or turn on. I'm not sure what he did, I think he got a battery off ebay and replaced it, im not 100% sure though ill have to ask him.
