Restored ipod error for apps!

my ipod touch for some reason wouldnt let me use any apps that i had(when i clicked them they went back to home screen) so i restored it and used the backed up files and at the end there was a error message saying that the apps were not authorized on my computer. AND I HAD APPS ON THERE THAT I PAID FOR!!!!!!

Please help.

make sure your logged in to your itunes on your computer.
