Hello everyone, I am thinking of getting an ipod or itouch...

My questions are should i get an ipod or itouch?

If you say ipod what gen and what kind (nano, video, shuffle)?

Pretty much just post your opinions on them....

I'd say the video Ipod unless your into the touch screen deal. You can always put Ipod touch software on the video.

Depends if you have a lot of music or not. If you have a lot of music and videos then you want to get the iPod classic, if you don't have a lot then you want to go with an iTouch they are really fun to play with and show off. Plus you have the app store (if you have wi-fi) so you can download a lot of 3rd party apps.

i would go the ipod touch. if you have wifi in your house you basically have a mini laptop. you have a webbrowser you can download things such as aim on it. and the games are 100X better and most of them are free.

1st gen touch Vs 2nd Gen touch
I have the second gen and i have to say it is much more comfortable in you hand it has external speaker (witch are actually garbage) and it has the side volume control witch is AMAZINGLY useful lol However it Cannot be jailbroken Basically its only downlofall is not being able to be jailbroken but with time it will be you just need to be pacient

the first gen can be jailbroken and you can basically get anything you want for free however Hardware wise its not as good as the 2nd gen touch. but you can probably find one on ebay for much cheaper.

If you have wifi, or there is wifi in your house, definitely get the touch

well actually get it anyways because it's really fun to play games on and stuff, but make sure to jailbreak it
